 Under the direction of diabetes educators, the Diabetes Clinic at the Kingwood Health Center provides outpatients diabetes education, blood glucose monitoring, nutrition and exercise counseling, and medication and prevention advice, as well as help for special patient needs.
Life with Diabetes classes are regularly offered, a chronic disease support group meets on the second Wednesday of each month in the hospital Conference Center and a free Diabetes Education Expo is held annually.

For the convenience of patients, diabetes care is also provided at the Bethel Health Center and Chelsea Health Center.
