A 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, hospitalists and skilled nursing staff provide 24-hour care to hospitalized patients. Care is provided in two neighboring units, a medical/surgical unit named Howell Pavilion and a Transitional Care Unit for patients needing rehabilitation or sometimes transitioning to a nursing home.
Patients typically needing hospitalized care are:
End-of-life care is provided in a special suite, the Garden Room, for patients and their families in advanced illness or at the end of life and services for these patients are supported by the hospital’s annual Last Mile Ride.
Care provided to all patients involves a team of caregivers and personnel, providing a wide-range of services to enhance patients’ stay and thus their recovery. These staff members and services include:

• Restaurant-quality meals ordered via room service and prepared fresh |

| Hospital visiting hours are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The cafeteria is open weekdays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, with hot breakfast served from 7:30-9:30 a.m., continental breakfast 7-10:30 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Soup and sandwiches are available during the afternoon. The Garden Gate Gift Shop, easily accessible from the inpatient units, is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m |
