Robin's Nest Child Enrichment Center |  | The Robin’s Nest Child Enrichment Center at Gifford provides day care to children ages 6 weeks to 6 years high-quality, play- and education-based safe child care. A modern facility with a schoolhouse feel, the center is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children – a voluntary and rigorous standard to maintain. It is further designated as earning the maximum five “STARS” from the Vermont STep Ahead Recognition System. The Robin’s Nest provides care for a maximum of 44 children at one time, including eight infants, eight pre-toddlers, 10 toddlers/young preschoolers and 18 preschoolers. The daily schedule offers children play and learning experiences with a variety of toys, books and equipment, all designed to enhance a child’s social, emotional, cognitive and fine/gross motor skill development. The Robin’s Nest additionally participates in the Vermont State Food Program, and meals are provided for all children. The Robin’s Nest’s is open from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Children must enroll for a minimum of two full days (up to nine hours a day) each week.
