Oncology

Gifford is among only five hospitals in Vermont that are designated as approved cancer centers by the national Commission on Cancer.

As such, Gifford offers a host of cancer care services through our Oncology Department. Located in the third floor of the hospital in Randolph, the local program is designed to allow area residents to receive some outpatient oncology services close to home and in a comfortable setting, including:

  • Cancer care from experienced oncologist Dr. John Valentine;
  • Compassionate and specially certified oncology nurses;
  • Planning options for cancer treatment following a diagnosis;
  • Outpatient chemotherapy; and
  • Some treatments for hematology conditions, such as anemia.

Call the Oncology Department at (802) 728-2322 to learn more about this program or schedule an appointment.
