Chaplaincy
In a program created with the help of area clergy in
2000, Gifford is fortunate to have 20 volunteer chaplains offering spiritual guidance and listening ears to patients
in need.
In addition to the volunteer Chaplaincy Program, the hospital employs a chaplain and maintains the Chun
Chapel, named for the late Dr. Kwang Chun, a Gifford trustee and chief of surgery. The chapel is located near the hospital’s inpatient units and is available for
patients, visitors and staff.
