Diabetes Services
Under the direction of diabetes educators, the Diabetes Clinic provides outpatients diabetes education, blood glucose monitoring, nutrition and exercise counseling, and medication and prevention advice, as well as help for special patient needs. Life with Diabetes classes are regularly offered, a Diabetes Support Group meets one Tuesday a month (usually the first Tuesday) from 11 a.m. to noon in the hospital Conference Center and a free Diabetes Education Expo is held each November during Diabetes Awareness Month.
