Rehabilitation Services

Gifford offers rehabilitation services for both inpatients and outpatients.
An inpatient sub-acute rehabilitation unit is available for patients requiring rehabilitation services such as physical and occupational therapies, nursing care or respite care. The unit helps patients regain strength
and independence to return to the home environment following an illness or injury, or transition to a nursing home. The unit even provides a safe place for people in need of rehabilitation therapies and nursing care to stay while home caregivers are away.
Outpatient rehabilitation services include physical, occupational and speech therapies aimed at helping patients overcome injuries or impairments and return to everyday activities. Appointments begin at 8 a.m. weekdays, and our team of physical therapists offers some early evening appointments. Physical therapy appointments are also available at our Bethel and Sharon Health Centers.
