Gifford Medical Center’s board certified surgeons perform many advanced and routine surgical procedures, including general surgery, orthopedics, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, urology, podiatry, and obstetrics and gynecology.
Consistent with current trends, the majority of Gifford patients scheduled for routine non-emergency surgeries are admitted and discharged through the hospital’s same-day surgery program.
